Adverse Weather / Rain
Safety is our number one concern here at Green Hand Farm Park and we will adjust our hours accordingly for adverse weather. Please
contact us or check our
Facebook feed when there is inclement weather to find out about adjusted hours or how it might effect your visit.
Alcoholic Beverages
No alcoholic beverages are permitted at all, ever.
Smoking
We are working farm with items such as hay that can ignite quickly therefore smoking is only allowed in designated, segregated areas.

Please note, all groups should pre-book their visit. To reserve your spot,
contact us today.
Re-Entrance
You must wear your Green Hand Farm Park wristband throughout your entire visit. Re-admittance is ONLY allowed with the wristband.
Payment Methods
For your convenience, we accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover cards. We do
not accept personal checks. Group leaders may pay with corporate or school checks for group admission.
What to Bring / Apparel
You are visiting a working farm and we recommend that you keep this in mind when dressing yourself and your children. Layered clothing, hats, comfortable sneakers or hiking boots and sun block are all items that you may want to consider during your visit. You may also want to bring spending money for our snack bar.
Pets
Licensed service animals and well-behaved pets are permitted. Owners are responsible to control and clean up after their pets.
First Aid
We stock standard first aid supplies that can be used to treat minor injuries. For more serious injuries we will contact the appropriate emergency personnel.
Medical Facilities
There are two medical facilities in close proximity to the Green Hand Farm Park site: Riverside Walter Reed Hospital (804-693-8800), located 4.7 miles north on George Washington Memorial Highway (Rte. 17); and Sentara Gloucester Medical Arts Complex (804-210-1000), located 1/2 mile north on Rte. 17

Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.
Restrooms
We provide portable restrooms, including a handicap-accessible unit, for your convenience.
Terrain / Handicap Accessibility
We've done our best to provide smooth pathways for you to walk on but these pathways can still be uneven or slippery, especially after a rain. All-terrain strollers or wagons for your kids work well. Wheelchairs are welcomed but users may experience difficulties accessing all areas of the farm. If you have any questions about our facilities, please
